Look What I Did!

Carson is going to have so much fun on Christmas morning...if he has any presents left to open.  He loves ripping the paper apart and waving it around in the air.  I love these pictures because he is so proud of himself and then...oops...maybe I wasn't supposed to do that.  It's so cute!  He's not crawling yet, instead he likes to pull himself along the floor like he's in the army.  You still have to keep an eye on the little guy.  He's a sneaky one.

Silly Hat...Silly Boys

Recently Aunt Amy and Uncle Toby went to London for vacation.  Toby asked Corbin what he should bring back for him.  Corbin's response, "something awesome".  Well, they nailed it.  The hat totally fits Corbin's personality....not so much his head.  Caleb also had some fun with it.

Meal Time Fun

Well it's been a while since I've posted.  It's not for lack of material but lack of time and energy.  We've all been sick and Carson has had it the worst, but I think we're all on the road to recovery.  Here's a glimpse into what has been going on the past few weeks.
Carson has started playing games while eating.  He has discovered he can bite the spoon and blow food out of his mouth at the same time, which of course gets a big laugh from everyone.  He loves it when his big brothers laugh.

Watch Out Romo!

We decided the plain white helmet just wouldn't do. So, we went to a local sports store and were lucky enough to find some small Dallas Cowboys stars that fit his helmet perfect. Caleb was a little disappointed because he wanted to put the Packers logo on one side....what was he thinking? I don't know where we went wrong but I did not raise my son to be a Packers fan. I think this cold weather is getting to him. Anyway, we won't let the same thing happen to Carson. I think he's loving his new and improved helmet.

Helmet Head

Well the reshaping process has begun.  Carson was fitted for his helmet on Friday and he has done a great job adjusting to it.  Last night was his first night to sleep in it and it didn't bother him one bit.  Actually, it's the first time in a while that he has slept through the night.  I really enjoyed that!
We do plan on customizing the helmet a bit, so check back to see the new and improved helmet later this week.

Our Little Pilgrim

Corbin had his Thanksgiving program at preschool on Friday.  I think he should have dressed as a clown instead of a pilgrim.

Casting Day

Today Carson had the casting done for his helmet.  Matt said the process was pretty difficult but Carson was a trooper.  They wrapped his head with seran wrap and put vaseline all over his head.  Matt had to hold his arms down and try to keep him from moving.  Needless to say he was exhausted by the end of it and took a good nap when he got home.  We've taken some before shots of his head to track his progress.  It's not that bad.  We just didn't want to regret not doing it.  He gets fitted for his helmet on Friday.  I hope he adjusts well.
